Jewelry is one of the most amazing things in the world. Since I was a child, I had always been fascinated with the idea of precious jewelry and beautiful designs. It has been really amazing to see the transformation and unique designs of different types of jewelry. One of my favorite types of jewelry pieces are earrings. I am in love with earing. Since I was seven years old, I had always worn an earring in my ear. I guess I always thought it was the cool thing to do. What made earrings even more special to me is the many different shapes, sizes, material, etc. that you could purchase.

I always liked to go to places that had variety, and the more variety the better. One of the places I like going to, and which I still go to is prjewel. They have a very large selection of jewelry that almost seems endless. Many different designs that fits your needs is always a plus. From what I know earrings became increasingly popular in the 1950s or early 1960s with girls using earrings as a way to express themselves. Some would even hold ear piercing parties at their home. As time went on, others started to commercialize ear piercings, and jewelry stores started to open their doors to offer ear piercings. This was really interesting because ear piercing became a type of symbolic memory. Unless you were a baby, most of us can remember when we first got our ear pierced. Some of us can even remember the earring that we wore. However, I can be quite certain that most of us do not have that same style of earring that we first wore anymore. Why? Because we often change our fashion and style. Sometimes we even search for more valuable metals and stones, and for some of us, it is nothing like having a big rock shinnying from your ear, or maybe even a tiny one, that is less noticeable but still very elegant. Something that says “look at me” but without trying to show off. There are many different types of earrings that describe us. I guess the question is, which one is describing you?
